Job Mission: To design, maintain, and optimize production processes and adapt to changed output requirements. Develop and apply methods of measuring the performance of the production process. Support the Production in order to ensure product quality, short lead-times and short time to market. Job Description: Manufacturing Engineer on YieldStar Optic Sensors: from mechanical build and qualification in the Assembly work centre till Metrology setup and qualification in TEST and Install. New Product Introduction: Lays down operating instructions, process flow charts, routings, process parameters and indicators. Brings his knowledge to bear on (new) product development projects, in order to foresee production problems in the design phase and in order to improve the manufacturability of the product and test design. Continuous Improvement: Analyses the production process, points out structural problems and bottlenecks, works out suggestions for improvements and initiates their implementation, often in close cooperation with the surrounded departments as Development, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain and Customer Support. Support: Contributes to the rapid solution of complex faults and takes the necessary initiatives and practical decisions. Troubleshoot

For our client we are searching for a Manufacturing Engineer. Our client is a professional and dynamic company in the rapidly growing international wind energy market. She specializes in the design and development of rotor blades and nacelles f or wind turbines. With her specialty in the composites industry, this organisation with its advanced technology and expertise is unique in the world. As Manufacturing Engineer you are responsible for technical development, audits and evaluation of composite processes that meet the organisations standards of quality and cost. As well as to conduct fundamental research to improve or generate new composite processes to improve quality of product and production processes. You participate in Blade Design Project teams. Tasks: Create the composite production design of our rotor blades and details based on structural and aero dynamical design; Optimize the design to production aspects: production, assembly, reliability, cycle time, cost etc.; Generate and release the conceptual production design, also for future production technologies; Interface with blade factories; Support the first of series production in one of our factories on site; Control the design interfaces to detail design, structural design, aero design (design reviews); Provide requirements for the tooling design; Conduct complex research projects into composite processes with research institutes and universities; Set up laboratory tests, calculates and analyses test results and prepares detailed reports with recommendations and conclusions; Supervise, coordinate, monitor and evaluate evaluation, R&D or large scale tests within production organizations in India, China and USA to ensure (quality) standards are met and followed.
