Direct reports and Supervision of specialist contract staff : intelligent pigging specialists, offshore survey-, ROV inspection- and diving representatives, Contributing to the integrity assurance of some 1600 km of onshore and offshore pipelines in the United Kingdom and or The Netherlands and their subsequent availability,.Contract user for EPE Intelligent Pigging contract. Meet the challenge of ensuring the technical integrity of an extensive offshore and onshore pipeline infrastructure which consists of both new build and ageing pipelines, located across NL and UK borders each with specific and different legislation and regulations. Identify, implement innovative solutions to improve the HSE performance, minimize maintenance costs and assure the technical integrity of an extensive and aging offshore pipeline infrastructure, across asset and national boundaries. Develop and maintain good professional operational relationships with the cross border asset teams, E&M team, contractors and external authorities (e.g. UK HSE and DECC, as well as NL SODM and VROM) and influence others to ensure an optimum approach to pipeline integrity management. Make regular visits to the UK asset teams in Great Yarmouth and Bacton.Contribute to the further development of an EP Europe approach to pipeline integrity management and share best practice with other clients OUs. Manage uncertainty in a broad spectrum of technical and commercial issues to ensure optimum solutions are delivered. Make and or contribute into occasional reviews / audits of the pipeline facilities including offshore platforms and vessels. * Support the Maintenance Engineering team leader in the execution of his / her responsibilities * Ensure pipelines are maintained and operated within applicable certification requirements. Meet the requirements for the UK the client UK Pipeline code of practice and for the NL the client guideline for assessment of Pipeline Integrity. * Develop plans and execute the clients cross border pipeline inspection maintenance program and remedial work activities to ensure safe & efficient delivery of pipeline inspection plans on time, on budget and to the required standard resulting in continued availability of the pipelines infrastructure, exercising continuous analysis and improvement. * Responsible for defining scopes for inspection program for clients Pipeline infrastructure (pipelines and risers), inspection includes Sonar, ROV, Diver, Intelligent Pigging, CP scope, diver inspection of protection structures, function testing of ESDVs, SSIVs, Alarm & trip setting checks. * Analyze inspection and maintenance findings; manage preparation of plans for remedial action and co-ordinate remedial works activities. * Interface with and drive delivery of contributions of other departments contribute to the overall integrity assurance process for clients pipelines. * Compile and deliver the annual pipeline integrity reports according to the client UK Pipeline Code Of Practice and or the NL guideline for assessment of pipeline integrity. * Seek and assess best practice inspection, monitoring, maintenance and emergency response processes and technologies * Maintain the pipeline databases CPD, PDMS, IBIS, COABIS: record key changes, inspection findings and pipeline integrity events in the appropriate documents / database * Provide support to the organization ensuring right choices are made balancing safety, integrity, cost and do-ability. * Monitor state of integrity and effectiveness of maintenance process by regular offshore visits. * Identify, develop and execute improvement initiatives, * Provide functional expertise to improve the Pipeline Integrity Management process and procedures in EPE and drive alignment and improvement opportunities across asset and national boundaries. * Ensure pipeline handover requirements from project to operations are sufficiently defined / delivered. * Provide support to operations and advice on risk to pipelines associated with rig moves and other activities in proximity to offshore pipelines, such as third party cross over both clients operated pipelines. * Liaise with government departments, statutory authorities, certifying authorities and professional bodies to ensure legal regulations are met, EPE reputation is safeguarded and promotes practicable and improved codes of practice and regulations in the field of pipeline system operations. | Pipeline Engineer Banen The post holder will be assigned as Pipeline Engineer for the onshore and offshore production and storage facilities The post holder will provide pipelines engineering support to the operations and projects, and will be responsible for the integrity and maintenance of existing and new pipelines. Also familiarization and support to the project including new large size pipelines will be required. In addition, the post holder will manage and optimize maintenance contracts for pipelines both onshore and offshore and advise on special inspection requirements such as Intelligent pigging, Cathodic Protection, etc. Roles and Responsibilities · Responsible for company pipeline management system · Conduct fit for purpose analyses based on inspection findings as appropriate · Give active guidance and support to the field operating personnel and be responsible for day-to-day pipeline issues such as pigging · Pipeline engineering input during design of projects · To perform these tasks, the Pipeline Engineer makes use of engineering contractors, interfaces with manufacturers, and has close contact with operations and process and other networks within the organization and works within the HSE policy · Optimize pipeline corrosion management · Liaise with authorities and regulators Business Qualifications · HTS level or higher in mechanical or pipeline engineering · Experience with design and maintenance of pipelines · Familiar with pipeline risk assessment and Risk management · Knowledge of Bevb, NTA 8000, NEN 3650 and other Dutch legislation on Pipeline Management · Able to work under pressure · Pro-active attitude · Leadership in HSE and particular pipeline safety |
