    Our client is international company specialized in service and maintenance of heavy duty gas turbines. OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION: Provide technical support to all the other departments on trouble shooting, maintenance, repair and all other related subjects in the field of gas turbine technology, fulfilling the company targets in terms of technical performances. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: -Act as lead engineer in customer projects -Develop & maintain root cause analysis programs, systems & tools, etc. -Troubleshoot on mechanical and operational issues in the field and the shop -Provide technical support to the commercial department -Develop and maintain maintenance procedures and tools -Developing and describing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods; -Analysis of maintenance schedules and proposal of solutions. -Technically support planned and unplanned work; -Diagnosing breakdown problems; -Liaising with client departments and customers; SPECIFIC TASKS: -Build and maintain relations with third parties (contractors, mother/sister companies). -Research and advise about new potential development and innovation opportunities. -Provide specialist engineering support to colleagues in Engineering, Field Service and Sales -Analysis of turbine phenomena, such as vibrations, and proposal of solutions. -Technical assistance with assembly and Balancing of rotor assemblies. -Provide technical support on gear boxes, pumps, heat exchangers, control valves and other auxiliary components and systems. -Support project management, field service and operation department technically on long term service agreements; -Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs; -Writing maintenance strategies for complete gas turbine installations

Your Profile Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or related discipline 3+ years of experience in an industrial setting in process technology/engineering. Experience with Specialty Monomers/Polymers or extensive knowledge of unit operations in chemical industry Piloting and lab experience preferred. Excellent technical, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle diverse responsibilities. Willingness to be a team player. Job Mission As a field service engineer your main focus is to deliver onsite technical support to customers, in order to ensure an optimal working and performance of EUV light sources in the semiconductor manufacturing process. Job Description You are working in the Customer Serivce, Field Service group which is responsible for the installation, qualification, support and maintenance of EUV light sources at customer locations. Today these locations are Veldhoven (the Netherlands) and other international locations.. As a Field Service Engineer, flexiblity towards worktimes (up to 7x24) and location is required. The job requires a good overall knowledge of the complete system with all its sub modules and their dependencies. Major task and responsibilities are: - Install the system on location in close cooperation with representatives from the scanner supplier - Execute system release tests, analyse and document test results - Maintain and repair the system at various customer locations - Analyze and diagnose problems on customer location with, if required, support from specialists from our headquarter of the customer - Manages technical escalations from customer to headquarter of the client - Plans work and tasks together with customer. - Pro active diagnostics and maintanance in order to secure an optimal uptime of the equipment. - Make performance improvement proposals. - Initiate improvements in order to improve serviceability or Way of Working. - Ordering replacement parts, keeping administrative track of system configuration and changes thereto. - Able to transfer knowledge to and support the customer with system operation, performance improvement and maintenance.
