The Senior Design Engineer / Architect cooperates in a team consisting of the Project Leader, the Marketing Manager, and the Architect(s). Key areas of responsibility are: - Define/analyze System requirements with Architects (also from other disciplines); - Define Hardware/Software architectures and interfaces, select power conversion topologies, including key control ICs; - Proof feasibility of (new) concepts by simulation, breadboarding and measurements; - Develop first demonstrators including component choice, PCB layout guidance and (external) manufacturing; - Validate (electrical/thermal/EMC) the concept and write development report.

| Senior Product Designer Ref.nr. 10.920.576 Banen Als Senior Product Designer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de conceptontwikkeling van nieuwe producten, vooral wat betreft vormgeving, ergonomie, comfort en gebruiksgemak. Je bedenkt/ontwerpt nieuwe product concepten en innovatieve toepassingen en vertaald dezen naar concrete, produceerbare producten. | Naval Architect (senior) Banen We are looking for a (Senior) Naval Architect. The (Senior) Naval Architect is the Innovations Department's responsible person in relation to Naval Architecture and Engineering. Innovations Department is responsible for all modifications to, and new construction designs for,vessels and equipment. This includes working on design, analysis, working procedures, material takeoff, etc. The (Senior) Naval Architect reports directly to the Manager Innovations. Assist and advise technical and operational departments on ensuring compliance with class requirements and relevant codes for vessels; Ensure that software is up to date and validated; Prepare vessel modification proposals and/or liaise with the Structural Engineering, Technical and Operations Departments on these modifications; Prepare and attend procedures for vessel tests or special marine operations; Prepare calculations on stability, vessel motions, propulsion and vessel strength. |
