Main tasks & responsibilities: • Monthly consolidation and analysis of the group figures; Ownership of corporate guidelines regarding accounting, financial reporting policies and procedures; Ensure that the consolidated figures are in compliance with group policies; Maintain (and develop) the groups financial reporting system; Preparation of monthly reports for group management; Preparation of reports for the supervisory board; Coordination of the year-end processes, including contacts with the external auditors; Preparation of the consolidated annual accounts; Tax consolidation; Participate in group projects (for example acquisitions and projects to improve efficiency and quality).

Assist in the preparation and reporting of IT plans and budgets; Ensure that financial reporting for the IT group is structured and consistent with goals of the company business and standards; Improve users productivity and efficiency by structuring the reporting , forecasting and budgeting process; Prepare and draft financial guidelines as required; Consolidate all European Financial IT reporting within this group; Primarily responsible for structure of IT contract register and IT savings database; Proactive partnership with the business for advice with regards to defining and implementing solutions; Streamlining processes providing efficient and effective methods for reporting, measuring and analyzing IT costs and savings; Ensure the appropriate accounting, tracking and cost management of IT contracts; Implement/maintain Pan-European procedures with respect to entering, renewing or ending IT contracts; Facilitate the processing of optimizing the financial control of the European IT organization; Define financial standards to support efficient financial reporting and consults with IT colleagues throughout the financial reporting process; Pro-active defining and tracking of potential IT saving in Europe.

This is a coordinating role in a high analytical team. Job profile: Financial Markets Business Consultant / Controller In this function as a senior Business Controller / Consultant you're focusing on the Global Financial Markets part of the bank. You act as point of contact for the board, sr. management of GFM as well as for GFM Business managers who are responsible for the trading & sales activities. The Global Business Control department combines regulatory required and management reporting activities and analyses on a periodic and ad hoc basis. The seniority of this global position requires a specialist mindset with good communication skills. It is not important to be the best quantitative modeller, but that you are able to explain what the import parameters are and can conceptualize issues for Senior Management. Dependent on experience and seniority you will be member of e.g. the Global ALM committee, the Global Financial Markets Risk Committee, the Capital impact committee, the New Business Committee and/or Valuations committee. Most of the work is project ad/hoc based to solve complex issues, bring transparency on issues or to assess impact of changes in the environment (amongst which new regulations like Bis 3, IFRS 9) to the business and strategy of the bank. Job Requirements: Financial Markets Business Consultant / Controller The ideal candidate has the ability to understand organizational relations and balances and understands the interdependence between risk and reward. Preferably you've got experienced in several topics; financial markets products, Bis II, liquidity risk etcetera.
