In this new position you will develop, set up and manage the Sakura Training Academy. The scope of the Training Academy will be very broad and includes training plans for current service & application staff, sales staff, field service group, all new hires, as well as customers who purchase and use Sakura products and instruments. Your responsibilities: - Develop training strategies partnering with managers from Service, Application, Sales and Marketing departments. - Prioritize training needs according to corporate strategy. - Set up complete customer training programs, including training sessions, handbooks, web-based tools and e-learning. - Evaluate and manage the success of both individual training and the overall programs. - Responsible for the training budget and develop forecasts for future training needs. - Report to the Manager Product Support. You are able to relate to staff at all levels and to build strong working relationships internal as well as external. Your profile: - At least a bachelor degree (e.g. Business Administration or Communication). - A minimum of three years work experience in training. - Good analytical skills and attention to detail. - Good communication- and outstanding presentation skills. - Excellent command of the English language, spoken and written, good knowledge of Dutch would be a bonus. - Working from the head office in Alphen aan den Rijn and willing to travel within the region EMEA and India. Department The Supply Chain Polymers department is responsible for planning, order handling, warehousing and distribution of around 4 Mton of polymers in Europe. The Planning department takes care of long and short term planning, both in terms of demand, supply and inventory. The Challenge The Demand Chain Coordinator's main target is to improve the demand forecast and to create value across the supply chain as main focal point between Supply Chain Management and Business Management. Amongst others your responsibilities are drawing-up and monitoring the demand plan on tactical and operational level in SAP.
