To strengthen our sales team in the BeNeLux area, we are looking for a Product Specialist (Music Instruments) m/f Responsibilities & Tasks Design and drive technical presentations regarding Steinberg products with resellers, customers and EDU institutions in BeNeLux and partly Scandinavia The position interacts directly with customers and works cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction Active dealer-communication and support in the area looking for future trends and new challenges regarding the technical products Reporting to the Sales Department in Germany Attend trade shows and presentations, and report on market findings while establishing a strong working relationship with the reseller and EDU institutions Perform product related competitive analysis on a regular basis Collaboration with local and international system engineers and BDMs to participate in coordinated sales campaigns Job Requirements Technical engineer or technical schooling and/or a diploma or a degree in sound design, music technology, sound engineer; e.g. SAE diploma, or Bachelor degree, or 1 - 3 years of equivalent real-world work experience in a music production environment Ability to teach basic music production techniques as well as trainings and workshops for professionals You have an exceptional knowledge of MI products and modern recording techniques and extensive experience with our flagship products and/or other comparable audio and music software tools, product knowledge of Steinberg solutions Your technical skills give you a talent for structuring, summarizing and explaining complex music technology matters Excellent cross-platform skills (Windows Vista and Apple Macintosh) Dutch native speaker, fluent business English (spoken & written), French or a Scandinavian language would be an asset You fulfill the job-profile if you have 50 - 70 % willingness to travel and knowledge of MS Office If you meet these qualifications, we look forward to receiving your application including resume with covering letter in English via e-mail, along with an indication of your salary expectation and your earliest starting date. De Product Specialist is verantwoordelijk voor verkoopgerichte technische ondersteuning van de diverse afdelingen (o.a. verkoop, agenten, klanten, After Sales, etc.) met betrekking tot toepassing van de productgroep (en) gericht op vrachtwagens. - Vertaalt markteisen naar transport oplossingen - Is verantwoordelijk voor de interne (en externe) toepassingsgerichte opleidingen en trainingen t.a.v. de productgroep(en) - Ondersteunt en geeft input aan de betreffende R&D afdeling m.b.t. ontwikkelingen, opbouw-, gebruikers- en onderhoudsinstructies en specificatiebladen - Levert een bijdrage aan het optimaliseren van de Productgroep(en) - Is verantwoordelijk voor het bepalen en onderhouden van de standaard - Is verantwoordelijk voor het afhandelen van after sales vraagstukken en het artikelbestandbeheer conform de binnen de organisatie vastgestelde processen

Lely Taurus is active in trading and reconditioning used Lely Astronaut milking robots. For further information, please visit: www.lely.com The product specialist is responsible for supporting the mechanics who overhaul used Lely Astronaut milking robots. Major activities: After a thorough in-company training period you can be deployed worldwide. You will be responsible for the following set of duties. Supporting the overhaul mechanics To ensure knowledge of milking robots at detail level, the Product Specialist is expected to provide guidance and assistance, whenever needed, for all parts of the process; Final testing of milking robots After the overhaul, the milking robots are tested on their full functionality. Failures, if any, need to be identified end solved; Monitoring and improving the quality of the overhaul The quality of reconditioned robots needs to be improved further through analysis and preventive remedying of failures and complaints; Improving the efficiency of the reconditioning process The overhaul process needs to be (re)organised in such a manner that overhaul times are reduced without loss of quality. In this context, both the organisation of work and the layout of work site is of paramount importance; Data processing Reconditioning activities need to be fed into the ERP system and analysed to ensure transparency of costs and benefits; After sales service; The Product Specialist is the first contact for technical queries on the part of Lely Center organisations and, if necessary, he/she will assist in solving technical problems in relation to used robots that have been reconditioned by Lely Taurus.
