Because of the central location to all manufacturing facilities and the ease of air transportation in and out of Amsterdam airport, this position will be housed at the physical location of the freight forwarder/warehouse at Schiphol. Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Be the primary point of contact for all import/export and international related matters in order to ensure NOV's compliance with government requirements specific to foreign trade and logistics security for this region; • Maintain division-wide import/export compliance and procedures program; • Ensure that all necessary documentation is maintained; • Proactively develop and conduct internal self-audits to ensure compliance to government regulatory programs; • Monitor the development of trade legislation and regulations specific to the region and provide analysis and recommendations based on these developments. Job Qualifications: • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience; • 7+ years transportation and management experience; freight and traffic management experience preferred; • Experience with import/export procedures, international freight; • Excellent interpersonal skills; • Extremely organized and able to handle multiple tasks at a time; • Work well under pressure and daily deadlines; • Highly motivated and willing to work flexible work hours to accommodate business needs; • PC skills required (including MS Office). Je draagt bij aan de ontwikkeling van het juridisch beleid binnen APG en je adviseert het management over juridische zaken. Ook zorg je voor een juiste en uniforme behandeling van uiteenlopende juridische aangelegenheden betreffende de hele APG-organisatie. Daarnaast vervul je een rol als compliance medewerker van de afdeling Corporate Legal, Tax & Compliance (CLC) en draag je bij aan de ontwikkeling en de naleving van compliance en het integriteitbeleid binnen CLC. Je zorgt ervoor dat er binnen je bedrijfsonderdeel voldoende awareness is voor van de naleving van wet- en regelgeving en je monitort deze. Voor beide onderdelen geldt dat je in staat moet zijn om de dagelijkse werkzaamheden met grote mate van zelfstandigheid te verrichten. Bij APG ga je werken bij de afdeling Corporate Legal Tax & Compliance (CLC). Hier werken 14 professionals die verantwoordelijk zijn voor juridische, fiscale (beleids)advisering en compliance voor de Raad van Bestuur, de business units en dochtervennootschappen van het APG-concern. | Tax Compliance Medewerker Europa - Indirecte Belastingen Banen Binnen Finance is de fiscale afdeling van DAF Trucks mede verantwoordelijk voor de fiscale strategie van de onderneming. Daarnaast biedt ze ondersteuning aan de verschillende bedrijfsonderdelen op alle van toepassing zijnde belastingen. Dit betreft zowel de directe als indirect belastingen, hoofzakelijk gericht op Europa. Jouw functie kent 2 belangrijke deelgebieden: het eerste is controle uitvoeren over de ingediende BTW aangiften evenals het opstellen van de Nederlandse BTW aangifte en het tweede is om als vraagbaak te dienen op het gebied van de indirecte belastingen.
