For Yokogawa Europe Solutions, based in Amersfoort, we are looking for a new colleague in the position of: Safety Lead Engineer (M/F) Job Main technical liaison between customers and Yokogawa project teams located at home office and remote locations. Analyse customer’s functional requirements and work with customer’s engineers to deliver fit for purpose Safety system solutions. Supervise a project team that design, implement and tests system hard- and software. Act as a coach for the application engineers and ensure good co-operation within the project team. Plan, organize and monitor the work of the project team and provide feedback to the internal project organization regarding the progress of work. Carry out technical quality checks throughout all project execution phases. Guide sub-vendors, review, check and monitor their deliverables. Co-ordinate internal tests, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT). Is responsible for the correct- technical design, implementation and testing for the part of the scope as assigned to within the timeframes as agreed. Provides the technical representative with information regarding the scope as assigned to. Supports the technical representative in discussions with the client as and when required. Assists the Project Manager with the activity planning and execution of the work. Profile Minimal 5 years of experience in leading process automation projects. Technical education (at least Bachelor level), e.g. Information Technology, Chemical Engineering, Operational Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electro technical Engineering, Process Automation etc. Fluently in Dutch and English (speaking and writing skills). Flexible attitude and problem solving skills. Capable of working independently in the project team or with customers. Strong communication skills. Understanding and flexible in working with different cultures. Knowledge of and experience with designing and implementing Safety systems. The Senior Pipeline Engineer (IMR) will: - Support the Senior Pipeline Engineer (IMR) team leader in the delivery, management, the scheduling and execution of the work required to maintain the offshore pipeline infrastructure in the Southern North Sea in a fit for purpose condition, to ensure its availability. - Define scopes of work for inspection (Sonar, ROV, Intelligent pigs, diver), maintenance and remedial work intervention on pipelines, risers, valves and other pipeline elements. - Carry out first pass integrity assessment. - Compile and deliver the annual Pipeline Integrity report, according to the UK Pipeline Code of practice or the NL procedure for assessment of Pipeline Integrity. - Work closely with operations, projects and discipline experts to develop optimum solutions to resolve pipeline integrity issues. * Support the Senior Pipeline Engineer team leader in the execution of his / her responsibilities * Ensure pipelines are maintained and operated within applicable certification requirements. Meet the requirements for the UK the UK Pipeline code of practice and for the NL the clients guideline for assessment of Pipeline Integrity. * Develop plans and execute the clients cross border pipeline inspection maintenance program and remedial work activities to ensure safe & efficient delivery of pipeline inspection plans on time, on budget and to the required standard resulting in continued availability of the pipelines infrastructure, exercising continuous analysis and improvement. * Responsible for defining scopes for inspection program for this clients Pipeline infrastructure (pipelines and risers), inspection includes Sonar, ROV, Diver, Intelligent Pigging, CP scope, diver inspection of protection structures, function testing of ESDVs , SSIVs, Alarm & trip setting checks. * Analyse inspection and maintenance findings, manage preparation of plans for remedial action and co-ordinate remedial works activities. * Interface with and drive delivery of contributions of other departments contribute to the overall integrity assurance pipelines process. * Compile and deliver the annual pipeline integrity reports according to the clients UK Pipeline Code Of Practice and or the NL guideline for assessment of pipeline integrity. * Seek and assess best practice inspection, monitoring, maintenance and emergency response processes and technologies * Maintain the pipeline databases CPD, PDMS, IBIS, COABIS: record key changes, inspection findings and pipeline integrity events in the appropriate documents / database * Provide support to the organization ensuring right choices are made balancing safety, integrity, cost and do-ability. * Monitor state of integrity and effectiveness of maintenance process by regular offshore visits. * Identify, develop and execute improvement initiatives, * Provide functional expertise to improve the Pipeline Integrity Management process and procedures in EPE and drive alignment and improvement opportunities across asset and national boundaries. * Ensure pipeline handover requirements from project to operations are sufficiently defined / delivered. * Provide support to operations and advice on risk to pipelines associated with rig moves and other activities in proximity to offshore pipelines, such as third party cross over clients operated pipelines. * Liaise with government departments, statutory authorities, certifying authorities and professional bodies to ensure legal regulations are met, EPE reputation is safeguarded and promote practicable and improved codes of practice and regulations in the field of pipeline system operations. Support, where EPE priorities permit, Group developments in pipeline integrity management (e.g. global processes, review / audit activity). * Establish and maintain good professional relationships with other operators, third parties and government authorities
