Experience within the field of procurement and/or travel and living area in organizations of scale and complexity like SABIC. Job description: Application Engineer As an Application Engineer you will be responsible for: * Being a source of information about product application issues for colleagues, distributors and customers; * Creating tools, presentations and training material; * Visiting customers and distributors to introduce new products, discuss applications and support Sales; * Handling technical complaints, including on site visits; * Giving feedback to Engineering and Production based on practical experiences. Als application manager ben je service-eigenaar van een reeks (geïntegreerde, complexe) applicaties. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor één of voor een beperkt aantal (multiple) live services, voor incident- en probleemoplossingen en voor het afhandelen van standaardverzoeken die niet door de servicedesk worden afgehandeld. Verder ben je verantwoordelijk voor de relevante applicaties (de reeks complexe applicaties) binnen een specifiek domeinbeheer van serviceverwachtingen. Je fungeert als intermediair tussen het bedrijf en in- en externe leveranciers; je treedt op als derdelijnsondersteuning voor serviceherstel en het afhandelen van verzoeken die niet kunnen worden afgehandeld door de servicedesk. Je houdt je aan de vastgestelde processen en aan incidentoplossingsmethodieken en praktijken bij het uitvoeren van de hieruit voortvloeiende verantwoordelijkheden. Dat houdt ook in het naleven van vastgestelde kwaliteits- en beveiligingsnormen.
