Transform complex technical information into effective learning modules by applying adult learning theories. Assess and monitor the effectiveness of all learning and development initiatives against predefined metrics. Your Profile University bachelor or Master degree in Training and Development, Organizational Learning, Education or a related field. In depth understanding and demonstrated ability to apply the Operational Effectiveness program. Respected and credible individual with Manufacturing Management as well as all other functions in the organization in relation to cultural and organizational development. Recognized coaching expert who will need to lead or foster the desired culture change. 8+ years of progressive training experience in a manufacturing industry. Demonstrated expertise in conducting needs assessment, curriculum development and adult learning in a technical environment. Role Summary/Purpose A critical member of the Global Operations Team and for the WCS business, owning the Sourcing and Facility management process for WCS globally. The Global Sourcing Leader is responsible for $45 million of purchase base, 300+ suppliers and 20+ WCS facilities. Essential Responsibilities Sourcing/procurement processes: - Owning the wing to wing Buy to Pay process across WCS. - Ensure WCS Procurement processes are aligned with GE Capital EMEA and WCS policies (e.g. Sourcing and material activities outsourcing policy, record management). - Ensure all processes are fully documented through approved SOP’s & training manuals. - Communicating sourcing/procurement process at regular intervals to the organization and in the event of key changes in policy. - Publish Sourcing Dashboard with defined Sourcing CTQ’s. - Continuous focus on process improvement ,- efficiency and cycletime. - Drive efficiency through the implementation and adoption of Oracle Purchasing/SSS Accounts Payable System in all sites. Productivity and Savings: - Drive sourcing projects that achieve deflation, service improvement, productivity increase or a combination of these across the functions IT, Collection, Ops, Risk, etc. - Develop and run commodity focused Bullet Trains to control usage driven costs in the business. - Undertake strategic analysis and develop insight of the P-Base. - Conduct spend analysis by suppliers, commodities and platforms in order to ensure any cost growths or reductions are fully understood and approved. - Partner with functional teams to formulate cost out strategy and projects, drive projects to completion. - Lead the validation of Sourcing savings with FP&A (Finance) and resolve any ensuing issues to ensure annual savings targets are met. Strategy: - Develops and implement supplier strategies with the WCS functional leaders . - Work in a boundryless manner with the Capital EMEA and GE Sourcing community by leading or supporting strategies . Supplier Management: - Own the regulatory reqlatory requirements detailed in the Sourcing Policy. - Maximize Supplier engagement and- relationship and negotiating Terms and Conditions. - Enhance existing vendors performance and/or Terms and Contions. - Coordinate contract signature, supplier set-up and amendments. - Timely anticipate, start negotiations on all expirations contracts. - Address quality/delivery issue to supplier and/or escalate. - Perform AML check for business preferred suppliers. - Provide business with vendor information – e.g. preferred, alternatives etc. - Review and approve Vendormanagement database requests for WCS.
