Department Our manufacturing organization in Bergen op Zoom is one of the production facilities of the production of advanced engineering thermoplastics. Within the Compounding plant of FCP we have the job of Asset Operations Leader available. The Challenge The Process Automation consultant is responsible for achieving safe operation and optimum Process Automation asset utilization across all SABIC sites, through: Expertise deployment for solutions & improvements Development and deployment of world class practices and functional expertise Identifying improvement opportunities through internal and external networks Networking & knowledge management and sharing The position requires strong technical expertise and excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills to support the Process Automation engineers through the Global Manufacturing Competence Center for the development of best technical solutions to meet business needs and drive business results. This role will work closely with Site Manufacturing, Maintenance & Technical departments, business units and business functions. Your Profile Minimum 10 years of experience as a Process Control engineer including cost/benefit analysis, technical design, implementation, commissioning, start-up, maintenance, sustainability, trouble shooting, failure analysing and overhaul, with proven experience on project execution and maintenance of: Advanced Regulatory Control, Control loop performance, DCS, PLC hardware and software design, System life cycle management, HMI and process graphics design, Alarm management and rationalization, Abnormal situation management, Operator training simulators, Plant performance and monitoring, System infrastructure, connectivity, integration and interfaces, Networks and security: routers, firewalls, wireless, System reliability and availability, Computer hardware / operating systems, Virtualization. History of building relationships, gaining credibility, and partnering with business leaders and peers. Others: You must be able to speak and write English. Travelling to different regions and locations is required. This job can be performed from alternative locations based on business considerations and candidate profile. | Engineer Process Automation Banen Schrijven van de database software, het PLC besturingsprogramma en visualisatiesoftware na oedkeuring van de functionele software omschrijving, Invoeren van alle equipment, procesparameters en onderlinge connecties in het geautomatiseerde systeem. Uitvoeren van I/O-en Watertesten alsmede het ondersteunen bij de inbedrijfstelling van de installatie in samenwerking met de Commisioning Engineer en/of Supervisor E&I op locatie bij de klant. Testen van de software van de procesinstallatie in samenwerking met de Process Engineer en/of Commissioning Engineer.
