The position As Electronic Engineer or Developer you will work on development of high tech systems and advanced high tech modules. You are responsible for specifying and designing digital and / or analog electronic modules. Within the scope of experience we are expecting one of the following personal candidate skills: You are able to design block diagrams, board designs. You have a pragmatic approach and are able to implement design and work on possible testing. As a developer, you work in a multidisciplinary environment working closely with the Architect and / or project-leader and you will give direction to the design. Our analog and/or digital electronics specialists have knowledge of industrial control. Affinity with the next subjects is requested: electronics, power electronics, SMPS, (high frequency) signal processing, sensors techniques, precision analog electronics, RF, µC, DSP, FPGA, logic, connectivity, ESD / EMC, PCB layout, and/or rack designs.

The requirements and competencies You have completed a bachelor or master degree in engineering (electronics, electrical engineering or mechatronics). You have relevant experience in a multi-disciplined work environment. Function relevance, Engineer (1 to 2 years), Designer (min. 3 years), Architect (min. 7 to 8 years). We’re looking for a strong communicative personality with a pragmatic attitude. Sufficient in English or Dutch. Knowledge of the Dutch language isn’t a must. You’re a team player with a multidisciplinary mindset. You’re demanding high quality standards in your work. You have a good career perspective and an ambitious personal grow curve.

The Senior Design Engineer / Architect cooperates in a team consisting of the Project Leader, the Marketing Manager, and the Architect(s). Key areas of responsibility are: - Define/analyze System requirements with Architects (also from other disciplines); - Define Hardware/Software architectures and interfaces, select power conversion topologies, including key control ICs; - Proof feasibility of (new) concepts by simulation, breadboarding and measurements; - Develop first demonstrators including component choice, PCB layout guidance and (external) manufacturing; - Validate (electrical/thermal/EMC) the concept and write development report.

Waar bestaat je takenpakket uit? Als Electronic Hardware Engineer ga je werken op de afdeling Product Development in het team Hardware Design. Je werkt mee in een multidisciplinair projectteam aan de ontwikkeling van nieuwe generaties monitoren, cameras en randapparatuur. Binnen dit team ben je verantwoordelijk voor de elektronische architectuur en ontwikkeling van high tech PCBs, neem je initiatieven en heb je een duidelijke rol als 'kartrekker'. Je bent binnen je vakgebied verantwoordelijk van conceptfase tot en met eindproduct. Je werkt nauw samen met de collegas op de afdeling Product Development en rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Manager Product Development.
