Plant Engineering Supervisor (technisch Manager)

The Plant Engineering Supervisor (PE Supervisor) oversees the day-to-day activities of the Plant Engineering function. The PE Supervisor is responsible for cross functional interaction, process engineering and overseeing and managing country level projects to ensure on time, on budget and quality completion. The PE Supervisor manages facility maintenance and housekeeping operations, facility legal and regulatory compliance, ensures the continuous development of the workgroup, and manages labor and employee relations activities. The PE Supervisor supervises the PE Team Leaders and Technicians. You may supervise some District Environmental Coordinators, PE Specialists and PE Management Trainees. The PE Supervisor reports to the District Plant Manager (Western Europe) and work with the total Centre Management from all the operations centres in the Benelux to ensure service excellence and a streamlined flow of goods and services. This position is responsible for Plant engineering in 9 locations in The Benelux. These facilities are located in: Belgium: o Diegem o Luik The Netherlands: o Amsterdam o Apeldoorn o Drachten o Eindhoven o Hoofddorp o Rotterdam o Utrecht The main hub location in the Benelux is located in Diegem, Belgium. The sort operation in this facility is supported by a highly automated handling system which requires full time attention from maintenance technicians. Further the operation in Eindhoven is the 2nd largest, however this operation is less automated. Sorting in Eindhoven and the other Benelux locations is done in a more manual way with some technical assistance. The PE Supervisor manages the following team: Team leader Diegem who manages a team of 5 maintenance technicians PE Specialist Diegem 2 PE Specialists in The Netherlands

Within the Compounding plant of FCP we have the job of Asset Operations Leader available. The Challenge Facilitates organizational effectiveness by modeling, reinforcing and coaching the elements of the Commitment Model. The Asset Operations Leader (= Plant Manager) is responsible for: Ehs Production Quality Logistics Personel Finance / Controlling Main Task of the AOL: Ensuring the plant performance is in line with the KPI’s The development of the people Close cooperation with central engineering / maintenance Play a leading role in the site 2020 plans and teams Develop good relationship with product management, key accounts CS and SCM. Sound experience with Environmental Health and Safety Procedures Interacts with the business and site in setting the direction for the operating unit including operating parameters and high-level production targets and Business Rules. Identifies and communicates operating unit goals and technology plans with respect to health, safety, and environmental concerns, unit operations, and technical opportunities. Shows full ownership of the investmentplans. Demonstrates leadership by assigning people appropriate decision rights on the basis of equality and transparancy. Makes sound and timely business decisions based upon Business Plans. Develops and drives implementation of capital projects that support and advance Business and Unit improvement initiatives. Manages personal development and the development of direct reports. Sets expectations and coaches to ensure that they are understood and accomplished. Your Profile The suitable candidate (male or female) should have a master or bachelor degree in chemical or engineering and have extensive experience in the chemical industry., especially as plant or production manager. He / she should be cost driven, used to manage by KPI’s and report out to higher management. A strong expertise in all state of the art production management (Lean tools, six sigma, SAP, etc) combined with a strong customer, service and quality orientation. Personality wise he/she should possess excellent leadership skills, passion and drive,and a good sense of urgency. The AOL should be a good people manager and communicator. Languages: Dutch and English are mandatory Furthermore: Ability to inspire and guide others toward identifying and achieving vision and goals; provides purpose and direction. Ability to give encouragement, guidance and direction to others to improve performance. In depth understanding of unit operations, process equipment and technology. Ability to modify interpersonal style, to use listening and feedback skills to build understanding, and effectively manage conflict. Ability to listen generously and practice open advocacy; ability to provide people the information to perform their assigned roles by spoken word. Ability to provide people the written information necessary to do their job correctly; ability to make relevant information known in a responsive and effective way.
