| Senior Corporate Governance Specialist Banen As a Senior Corporate Governance Specialist you will work to implement the Responsible Investment Policy and thereby contribute to risk-adjusted financial returns by integrating governance analysis into APGs investment processes; enable APG and its clients to demonstrate social responsibility by improving the governance performance of investee companies; and contribute to the integrity of financial markets. Your main responsibilities are to exercise voting rights for the ca 4000 equity investments that APG has on behalf of its clients and further integrate governance within investment processes. You provide portfolio managers with in-depth governance analysis and engage with investee companies in order to achieve improvements in corporate governance, and protect our rights as shareholder. You will influence the policy framework that affects the way APG can invest, and position APG in important governance debates. You will contribute to communication to our clients and stakeholders, and represent APG in relevant external networks. This post provides an exciting opportunity to work at the interface of governance and finance in one of the worlds leading investment institutions. The S&G team at APG Asset Management currently consists of 8 people with diverse backgrounds, skills and expertise. | Aerodynamic / Load Specialist Banen For our client we are searching for an Aerodynamic / Load Specialist. Our client is a professional and dynamic company in the rapidly growing international wind energy market. She specializes in the design and development of rotor blades and nacelles for wind turbines. With her specialty in the composites industry, this organisation with its advanced technology and expertise is unique in the world. The Aerodynamics & Loads department is responsible for the aerodynamic optimization of new wind turbine blade designs with respect to yield and loads (including the aero-elastic behaviour of the blade). Aerodynamic technology developments are initiated and led by the team in close collaboration with the Turbine Development Group in Germany, and universities. The team is also responsible for the aerodynamic evaluation (numerical and experimental) of new profiles and rotors and is actively supporting field test on wind turbines. Tasks: You will initiate, support and evaluate experiments supporting our R&D projects, such as: Aerodynamic field measurements on rotors; Wind tunnel measurements for profiles; Aero-elastic field measurements on rotors. In addition to these experimental tasks you will be involved in the following: Perform inspections and assisting in performing root cause analyses; Developing and verifying mathematical models in order to simulate rotor blade behaviour, like vibrations; Contributing in the design of aero-elastic building blocks of the rotor blade; Improving aero-elastic models based on advancing industry-wide insights; Follow actively (new) developments in wind energy industry. |
| Grid Certification Specialist Elektrotechniek Vestas Grid Certification Specialist 110000S6 Vestas Technology R&D Product Support The Product Compliance department in Product Support R&D under Engineering is responsible for different HSE & Type Certification deliverables for product platforms. The tasks are solved in close cooperation with other departments and through participation in product development projects, including Request for Non Standard Products. We thus ensure that products developed by Technology R&D obtain type certifications needed. Responsibilities Grid connection requirements are evolving rapidly in different countries around the world. In order to ensure we know the requirements for and obtain needed grid compliance certificates on WTG (Wind Turbine Generator) level we are looking for a Grid Certification Specialist. With reference to the Manager of Product Compliance’s DK team you will be responsible for knowing which relevant requirements are in place for obtaining such certificates. Besides, you are involved in specific development projects to ensure that needed Technology R&D documentation for ensuring compliance is planned and generated plus submitted to 3rd party. Your tasks will involve: Knowledge of grid requirements on WTG level: Work closely with Vestas Grid Code team in order to ensure that grid requirements are broken down to WTG level. The latter is ensured by advising and participation in technical reviews Communication with (other) Technology R&D and Sales Business Units that participate in international and national grid compliance committees and councils Ensure grid compliance certificates are obtained: Plan and perform type certification tasks in order to make sure that deliverables are made on time in product development projects, thus resulting in grid compliance certificates are obtained within deadline Close communication with certifying bodies on type certification deliverables Continuously improve processes and procedures for grid certification and type certification area. Qualifications You have: Bachelor or Master in electrical (and preferably control system) engineering or similar 8+ years’ experience within the area of product compliance to requirements Knowledge of electrical components and control systems in a WTG Knowledge of (inter-)national given standards in this area The ability to navigate in a global and dynamic environment Customer focus and are business minded Goal oriented English language skills on negotiation level.
