Wie we zoeken: Een gedreven Online Solutions Architect met een relevante hbo- of wo-opleiding Je bent een gedreven, ervaren en inhoudelijk sterke Online Solutions Architect die in staat is om klantbehoeften te vertalen naar standaard oplossingen. Je bent flexibel, stressbestendig, analytisch, gestructureerd en leergierig. Daarnaast heb je: een afgeronde ICT gerelateerde hbo- of wo-opleiding aangevuld met relevante vakopleidingen op het gebied van internettechnologie en architectuur; minimaal 7 jaar ervaring in het ontwerpen en/of ontwikkelen van online / internet / web toepassingen waarvan minimaal 3 jaar in de rol van Online Solutions Architect; brede kennis van oplossingen voor online / web / internet die beschikbaar zijn in de markt en bekend met de verschillende software leveranciers; kennis van enterprise architectuur en liefst het TOGAF framework. Verder is het belangrijk dat je niet alleen de Nederlandse taal goed beheerst, maar jezelf ook goed kunt uitdrukken in het Engels aangezien veel opdrachten een internationaal karakter hebben en je samenwerkt met collega’s in het buitenland (India).

As IT architect you will be responsible for the IT architecture and guidelines, improving existing solutions and integrating changes in a consistent and controlled manner. You will be advising on local strategic IT architecture decisions but will also be involved in discussions on higher levels and with external partners. You coordinate the R&D efforts within the IT development department and you will act as the key interface for discussions of architecture matters on a strategic level with 3rd partieson system integration. You will increase awareness with regards to architecture and propose improvements, for example reduce project lead times by decreasing complexity in the IT architecture. In general, the IT Architect: - Is responsible for the overall IT architecture of systems; - Provides oversight to software development projects and will be the primary advisor on the appropriate technical architecture to be implemented for projects; - Is informed of all new projects at IT D&D that could have an impact on the technical architecture; - Supports IT D&D in general and project teams in particular to design and develop requirements that are compliant with the architecture blueprints; - Plays an active role in the Architecture Board; - Works with the Development teams and with Operations to validate the project architecture design proposal; - You will be working with various stakeholders.

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) is currently the sole regulator of the UK financial services industry, but by the end of 2013 our responsibilities will transfer to two new bodies: the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Together, these two new bodies will continue to rigorously pursue our objectives of intensive market supervision, financial stability and consumer protection. The importance and dynamic nature of the regulations applied to Financial Services has grown significantly since the financial crisis of 2008, making the FSA a fascinating place to work. The move to a new organisational model is not the only change taking place at the FSA. Our IS division is our engine room, with an increasingly diverse and far-reaching remit from delivering the infrastructures that underpin the activities of specific divisions to initiatives that have organisation-wide implications. This is why we are now significantly expanding our in-house IS team. Part of our new Architecture, Design & Development team, you’ll be responsible for the integrity of our overall solutions architecture, ensuring that technical designs and solutions are fit for purpose and adhere to the overall IS strategy. You’ll be the architectural subject matter expert on large, complex programmes and projects. The role will entail close liaison with senior stakeholders within IS and other business areas.
