| Compensation Analyst-job Evaluation (bdh) Andere Financiën AdministratieandAccounting Department Within the SABIC HRM organization, the European Compensation & Benefits department is part of the Global C&B organization. With a team of 8 professionals the C&B department is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of C&B packages. Main focus area's are Pension, Health Plans, cross border mobility, salary policies, labor relations, tax, social security and HRIS. Currently the team is evaluating the policies and practices in the different business units and striving to harmonize compensation and benefits where possible and needed across Europe. The Compensation Analyst will report to the C&B Leader in Europe. The Challenge To execute various responsibilities related to the design and administration of our Regional Compensation programs. Provide analytical and other professional level support to the compensation and benefits function. Responsibilities include an important role in the setup and rollout our new Regional Job Evaluation Committee and process, conduct market surveys and analysis, consultation to internal customers (e.g. HR Business Partners, Line Management etc), policy development and implementation, special studies, incentive program administration and preparation of communications materials. Key accountabilities: Compensation and Benefits Management with key focus on the compensation side: Conducts analyses, and assists with the design and administration of compensation programs including but not limited to salary administration, market pricing, variable compensation, and general compensation as it applies to management, professionals, and production unit employees. Job Evaluation: Performs job evaluations using Hay job evaluation methodology, and coordinates other job evaluation efforts in the region, like the secretary role for the new Job Evaluation Committee. Also updating and maintaining the new Job Evaluation Management Tool is part of the key deliverables in this role. Market Surveys: Performs market pricing and analysis including participating in compensation surveys, matching positions with survey positions and submitting compensation data and practice information to fulfill survey requirements. Compensation Systems: Evaluates competitive trends in compensation programs, employee demographics and budgetary conditions and makes recommendations for change. General/Merit Increase: Assist with annual compensation processes including annual salary adjustments, incentive plan payouts and coordinates with payroll/data processing/others to ensure sound program execution. Reports: Prepares compensation-related reports required for management (including Corporate HR, Finance, Auditors etc.) Administration: Prepares detailed documentation (manuals, summaries, etc.) of programs, rules and procedures affecting compensation administration. Documentation Management: Maintain established department policies, procedures, objectives. Your Profile Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in compensation and benefits A sound knowledge of compensation programs, understanding best practices and legal and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of the Hay job evaluation methodology A sound knowledge of the applicable labor legislation Understanding of the administrative and operational issues involved in managing compensation programs. Quantitative and analytical abilities sufficient to conduct analyses and of various compensation program options. Strong oral and written communication skills including presentation and negotiation skills. Strong spreadsheet and PowerPoint Skills.
