In deze functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor de coordinatie van alle decentrale production engineering activiteiten binnen fabricage. Het uitgangspunt is de continue verbetering van product en proces op het vlak van kwaliteit, leverbetrouwbaarheid, flexibiliteit, veiligheid en kosten. De nadruk ligt eerder op preventie dan correctie. Je rapporteert in deze functie direct aan de area manager fabricage en je geeft leiding aan de decentrale production engineers.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineering Manager (m/f) based at the Company’s major location in ShaJing (Shenzhen). JOB DESCRIPTION The position of the Senior Engineering Manager reports directly to the Vice President responsible for the Business Unit. He will have the various Engineering Managers (Door Lock, Climate Control, Washer Punkt, Specification and Process Engineering, Lumbar Support & New Generation Engineering) reporting directly to him. He/She will directly lead a team of 7-9 and indirectly a team of 50. The main task is: 1. to lead the Engineering team to develop new products, include new design concept review, ESI, APQP documents, LCC, design validation, benchmarking, improvement and so on, in addition to support production sustaining cost reduction and quality improvement. Provide support and guidance to the external and internal audit to TS16949 and ISO 14001 etc. 2. to summarize lessons learnt and design guideline, attend design review committee, coach project engineers to strengthen the Engineering System and technological level. Monitor and review engineer’s performance, help them to develop themselves better. Monitor the VAVE activities and cost charging amount from other Bus. Approve PRs for purchase and all documents arising from eng team and key project management. Major responsibilities are: New project feasibility study and filtering, RFQ, customer services Lead 1-pc flow team for new project development Early Supplier Involvement (ESI) procedure Drawings and APQP document review, include DFMEA, PPAP of components, SER, benchmark etc. Products validation and PPAP Cost reduction and quality improvement for producing products New concept design review, validation and make guideline Review team members’ performance Material resource changed and validation Participate and support to top management The salary package will be in a way to attract the right candidate. The expatriate package includes Medical Care, Pension Scheme, Housing Allowance and providence. An additional Bonus between 10 – 15% will come on top. The favourable tax situation in Hong Kong will increase the net income considerably. CANDIDATE PROFILE The candidate has a basic upper grade education in Engineering or has attended a higher commercial school (University Degree, Fachhochschule, etc.). He/she should have at least 10 years experience He/she could have acquired the necessary knowledge through apprenticeship and a related working experience in the business sector He/she has several years of experience in engineering ideally in plastic injection, metal, machining process etc… He/She should have some experience in cost control The candidate should have a strong and convincing personality He/she knows how technical products are presented in the market. Analytical and long term thinking are very important Strong team player with the ability to liaise with people of different cultural background. Track record with a well known company He / she should have experience within an international environment. He/she should be fluent in English. Dit betekent dat jij verantwoordelijk bent voor het inrichten van engineeringprocessen en de grote lijn bewaakt in termen van tijd, financiën, kwaliteit, maakbaarheid en realiseerbaarheid. Als engineering manager zal je direct leiding geven aan 6 fte en indirect aan 90 fte. Hiermee ben jij medeverantwoordelijk voor het eindresultaat van jouw afdeling. | Manager Engineering Banen Als Manager Engineering richt u de (planbare) processen zo optimaal mogelijk in ten behoeve van de projectvoortgang en materiaalbeschikbaarheid. U zorgt voor een voldoende flexibele inrichting van deze werkprocessen en voor voldoende faciliteiten op de afdeling, zodat de medewerkers zo goed mogelijk hun werkzaamheden kunnen verrichten. U volgt relevante interne en externe ontwikkelingen en vertaalt deze waar nodig naar te wijzigen bedrijfsvoering. U coacht de teamleiders en medewerkers van de afdeling bij hun ontwikkelingen. In deze functie stuurt u de afdeling Documentatie en drie teamleiders van de Software, Hardware en Mechanische Engineering aan, indirect ongeveer 50 medewerkers. U rapporteert aan de director Operations & Projects. |
