Position summary: Member of the European Management Team and responsible for European Finance function. Responsible for management reporting and keeping the senior leadership (both in Europe and USA) aware of operating results in the form of revenues, costs, budgets, policies of operations, trends, and increased profit possibilities. Directs the maintenance and implementation of accounting principles, practices and procedures as they relate to the business units operations. Manage the functions of statutory , tax and management reporting, US GAAP project & cost accounting, financial planning & analysis, budgeting and credit & collections. Essential duties: -Partner with European Managing Director to assist in improving the business; identifying variances to plan and forecasts, and recommending corrective action plans and gap closure measures. -Owns reporting, planning, budgeting and forecasting activities of the business unit. -Analyze financial activities, job costs and cost structures of the business unit: -Provide analysis and monthly financial reporting for the business unit compared to plan, forecast and prior periods. -Provide periodic and ad-hoc analyses on the performance and projects of the Company, including analytical content and context. -Conduct job post-mortem analyses. -Implement planning and analyses tools utilizing the current IT-platform. -Responsible for US GAAP and local statutory audits, statutory accounts and local tax returns. -Develop economic models to evaluate capital projects and research and development efforts. -Develop and implement process improvements. -Assist in defining/redefining business practices and policies, and ensuring consistency across the organization. -Ensure adequacy of internal controls, compliance with Company plans, policies, and procedures, and that consistent financial discipline is applied and articulated with respect to all business decisions.

| Project Manager Europe Bij Odenberg Banen De functie Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het tijdig en binnen het budget opleveren van projecten van orderintake tot commissioning. Daarnaast vervul je een ondersteunende rol in het salesproces. Je coördineert de inzet van en werkt intensief samen met de regionale sales teams, R&D (Dublin), productie (Slowakije), back office en service. Je bent medeverantwoordelijk voor het verder professionaliseren van het orderproces. Je rapporteert rechtsreeks aan de Service and After Sales Manager Europe (Food Division). Gevraagd Je beschikt over een afgeronde opleiding op minimaal hbo-niveau, bij voorkeur in de richting elektrotechniek of werktuigbouwkunde. Enkele jaren ervaring met het managen van projecten, als senior project engineer of projectmanager, in de machinebouw of aanverwant. Ervaring in de food is een pre. Bereidheid om circa 25% van je tijd te reizen naar klanten en de verschillende locaties van Odenberg. Uitstekende kennis van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift. | Finance Manager Banen Manages the Finance function in the Netherlands. Will supervise and advise two Lead Accountants across two sites. Will develop and implement appropriate policies and procedures to comply with Corporate policy and statutory requirements. Provide support Senior Finance Manager in responding to requests for information over the two businesses. Responsibilities: Financial Management Communicate deadlines, control month end close and month end checklist; Produce monthly management reports in accordance with EMEAI agreed timetables; Review monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts; Analysis of profit and loss accounts as required; Control of cash flow; Produce Statutory Accounts in accordance with Dutch GAAP; Ensure adherence to corporate and local finance policies; Liaise with Shared Service Centre to ensure Working capital objectives are known and met; Support local business management with information and support; Participate in Local budgeting and forecasts; Youre part of the European finance team. Finance / ERP System Oracle / Baan Maintain sales, purchase and nominal ledger codes and structures; Control of access to Oracle Accounts; Understand and oversee standard costing systems; Oversee the maintenance of standard costs and provide guidance; Oversee inventory provisions to comply with statutory and corporate guidelines; Understand process flows within Oracle; Develop and implement KPI measures.
