    Voor onze opdrachtgever, een logistieke dienstverlener in Hoofddorp, zoeken wij een Business Analist Operations Als Business Analist Operations bied je ondersteuning aan het operationele management met analyses en concrete adviezen over verbetermaatregelen in het operationele proces. Met jouw kennis van de logistieke processen, systemen en partners ben je in staat om grondig (on)gevraagd financieel advies te geven bij wijzigingen in en optimalisatie van het logistieke proces met kostenefficiency en kwaliteitsoptimalisatie als uitgangspunt. Voor deze functie je regelmatig op bezoek in de operatie en vertaal je financiële vraagstukken in business oplossingen en lost business vraagstukken op vanuit financieel perspectief. Je verzorgt professionele analyses van de operationele processen op projectmatige basis. Met een gedegen plan van aanpak, het tussentijds communiceren van de voortgang, het presenteren van de eindresultaten naar de doelgroep, het opstellen van concrete verbeteracties tot het bewaken van de opvolging hiervan door lijnmanagement. Je bent intensief betrokken bij het opstellen van tarieven bij nieuwe klantaanvragen, opzet en ontwikkeling van zowel operationele als financiële rapportages en de volledige facturenstroom. Je ondersteunt daarnaast de collega controller met gerichte analyses en het doorrekenen van toekomstige verwachtingen met gebruik van scenarios voor bijvoorbeeld nieuwe business. Daarnaast zal je deelnemen aan verschillende projecten. Je volgt scherp de ontwikkelingen binnen dit werkveld, zowel binnen als buiten het bedrijf. Je treedt toe tot een organisatie die van de grond af opgebouwd gaat worden en waar veel van wordt verwacht qua groei. Een dynamische omgeving met veel ontwikkelingen waarin veel gerealiseerd kan worden!

Asset Optimisation and Trading (AOT) is the Business Division where all asset optimisation and trading activities are centralised for the Vattenfall Group. For our office in Amsterdam/ Hamburg we are looking for a: IT Business Analyst - Reporting/ New Markets & Sales/ Business Process Modelling - Your tasks and responsibilities Follow and understand the business model, business drivers, business developments and business requirements Map business requirements to IT requirements and solutions in close cooperation with the system area managers in the different countries Align requirements from different departments in order to create a consistent basis for IT requirements Assist the project manager in project phasing and quality assurance of the agreed scope during delivery Define and monitor the relationships between the project and manage those in close cooperation with Project Office Follow market developments Create basis for further design and development in the system area's and review different designs to ensure solutions will meet business requirements Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Information Management/ Enterprise Automation/ Business administration or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Strong communication skills for different audiences with different backgrounds Strong soft skills to engage and convince people without hierarchical power Strong analytical and problem solving skills Highly self-directed and able to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent and competing challenges, issues, ambiguities, and contradictions Our offerWe offer you the possibility to develop and augment your business knowledge while you learn to translate the requirements to IT. Senior Risk Analyst - Risk Model Operations And Validation

Risk management within Vattenfall has changed its organisation. The new Vattenfall Group Risk Management (GRM) organisation has gathered all risk management personnel within Vattenfall to be organised in one function clearly separated from the P&L responsibility. GRM assists the Vattenfall Management Board through proactively providing guidance and independent advice, challenging business to focus on the risk-reward balance. Models & Methodology within GRM enhances and challenges in a supportive way quantitative risk assessments and risk-related evaluation activities. Risk Model Operations and Validation (RMOV), a department of Models & Methodology, is responsible for supervision and monitoring of all non-standard risk factor and evaluation processes which are used in the daily business trading/origination environment. For RMOV we are currently recruiting a Senior Risk Analyst RMOV's responsibilities include price simulations models, forward curve methodologies and evaluation and risk measurement procedures beyond the typical Value at Risk approaches. The position involves the application and interpretation of back-testing procedures to quantify the quality of the models. An in-depths understanding of both the logics and procedures behind these approaches is inevitable for this process. In addition to the analytical skills required to accomplish this, a pro-active and steady communication towards the Business and Market Risk is a prerequisite for success. This is of explicit importance as we are dealing with people in several locations (for example Germany, Sweden and Netherlands). The role as a Senior Risk Analyst within Risk Model Operations and Validation comprises the following activities and responsibilities: - Responsibility as project and process leader. - Responsible for the methodology and output quality for the group wide Forward Curve, Valuation and Risk models (supervision and enhancements). - Operational and conceptual responsibility for the back-testing processes for non standard price and risk models. - Face to the internal counterparts (Traders, Analysts, Market Risk employees, etc). - Assist colleagues and transfer knowledge both, Vattenfall-internal and external. - Collaboration with other departments in Models & Methodology (fundamental long term modelling, judgement on financial risk and valuation models, etc.). - Supervision and further development of Group-wide Gross Margin calculations and market price risk of illiquid asset positions. Qualifications: - University degree in Finance, Business, Engineering or other quantitative degree. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with commercial/technical colleagues alike. - Minimum 5 years of practical experience of trading/risk related environment in energy markets. - A structured and result-oriented mind. - Ability to work independently. - Strong software skills. - Good customer awareness. - Both financial and fundamental understanding of the energy/power market. - Strong analytical skills with ability to transfer findings into commercial reasoning. - Proficient English oral and written language skills. - Dutch, German and/or Swedish language skills are an advantage.
